Line up of bands

At the three days of the European Brass Bands Championships 2018 a total of 26 bands will enter the stage in TivoliVredenburg. The strong line up promises an exciting and fantastic contest.

In the Championship Section reigning champion Eikanger-Bjørsvik Musikklag will defend its title, Brass Band Fröschl Hall from Austria is making its debut and home band De Wâldsang will make its 20th appearance at the EBBC.

The Challenge Section will see five bands taking part. Italian Brass Band will defend its title and will compete along with bands from Germany, Sweden, Lithuania and Northern Ireland.

The Youth Brass Band Contest will see four bands in the Development Section and five in the Premier Section. Three bands are entering for the first time; Tasta Skolekorps from Norway, Catch Bassin Brass Band from Austria and Seindorf Beaumaris Youth Brass Band from Wales will make their debuts in the contest.
